In 3 hardback volumes. Volume 1 in red cloth with ornate gilt embossing to the front cover, gilt title to spine, blind embossing to the rear cover, and gilt page edges, small library label to front cover (possibly Sigmund Friedl’s own copy); Volume 2 in plainer black cloth gilt, binding a little mottled; Volumes 3 & 4 bound together in one volume, cloth spine and marbled boards. Some wear to the bindings but overall in Very Good condition.

Rare complete run of all four volumes of this early Austrian journal (which continued as “Welt-Post” after this). With the Prospectus bound-in at the front of the first volume. Illustrated with numerous engraved portraits of postal officials and famous philatelists.
