Paperback, original blue/grey paper covers, 40 pages, bilingual text in English & French, lacking most of the backstrip (paper spine-covering), front cover detached, old tape mark to foot of front and rear cover, short tear to fore-edge of front cover and short tear to top-edge of rear cover, pages fine, would benefit from rebinding, in Fair/Good condition.
An important work relating to stamp repairs and forgery in the early 20th century. Samuel Singer, the stamp “repair man”, was used by Stanley Gibbons for many years to repair rare stamps. When Gibbons accused Singer of blackmail, Singer published this pamphlet in his defence. Very rare.
