One of the great masterpieces of philatelic literature originally published in instalments between 1955 and 1964. Because of the way in which pages were issued to subsrcibers over the period of ten years many original copies were deficient, and the author's eccentric page numbering system made it difficult to ascertain what was missing. This edition reprints the original in its entirety, in a slightly smaller format than the original. An essential reference work for collectors of maritime postal history.
